The Director 04:11
The Director Well you go through life just like a film director honey thinking everyone will play into your scenes But we’ve got our own minds, and we’ve got free will, and you’re not really sure just what that means. So you take on some ultimate pure responsibility for everybody’s feelings and emotions But we don’t have the scripts, and we keep missing the cues, and your silent direction is just causing commotion. Just look at me, I’m doing what feels best Just look at you, you can’t control what comes next And just let go, feel how you feel my love And just let it be, and just be real my love Bridge Well you get frustrated ‘cause it’s not going your way, and you’re not sure how to control it. And the lights are going out, and the props are falling down, and you can’t seem to keep the subjects well lit. And now your masterpiece is crumbling around you, and you’re powerless to change the movie. Just look in my eyes, connect soul to soul, that’s when the film director in you can move me. Just look at me, I’m doing what feels best Just look at you, you can’t control what comes next And just let go, feel how you feel my love And just let it be, and just be real my love

The Only One I Love Chorus: What you mean to me is more than anything that I could ever know and can’t you see, you will always be the only one I love. Verse 1 Once I woke up and began to see the light, You were there to transform all my wrongs to right. I was blinded, but you came and gave me sight. And when I broke down, you were there to hold me tight. Bridge And how I need you tonight Oh how I want you tonight. What you mean to me is more than anything that I could ever know and can’t you see, you will always be the only one I love. Verse 2: I needed someone to wipe away the tears, And help me to erase my greatest fears. But how could I know that you’d be all that I could wish. I didn’t believe that a girl like you exists. And how I need you tonight Oh how I want you tonight. What you mean to me is more than anything that I could ever know and can’t you see, you will always be the only one I love. It’s you that gave me light. When all seemed meaningless, You were my ray of hope. You came into my life and brought me happiness To last forever more. What you mean to me is more than anything that I could ever know and can’t you see, you will always be the one. What you mean to me is more than anything that I could ever know and can’t you see, you will always be the only one I love.

Los Congos 06:56
Los Congos Another day in Costa Rica The early morning light peers through the trees, between the leaves The ctenosaurs are wildly thrashing, As the rain continues to fall, on one and all. And one would think that life would continue on this way, day by day. But out upon the Roca Blanca, The diesel tractors and bull dozers begin to work again. And in the trees sit howling monkeys, Who watch the trees of the forest hit the ground, all around. And no one seems to care as their forest is stripped away, day by day. (Chorus) Oh, can’t you hear them calling. Crying out into the sun. The precious forest around them falling. The howling monkeys on the run. Bit by bit, the men are working, Stripping out the heart of the earth, “A New Birth.” They’re making way for another canal And giving ranchers cattle another place in which to graze. But once again man ignores all the warning signs he sees in the trees. The howling monkeys call out strongly. They seem to be protesting all the harm, that man has done. But on and on the men keep working. As the monkeys how into the sky with all their might. And the tractors continue to destroy our source of air, without a care. (Chorus) (Instrumental Break) (Chorus) A setting sun in Costa Rica Reveals the final tree to stand upon the land. And perched atop the highest brand A single howling monkey stands alone, on his own. Who would think that all would have ended up this way, especially today.

May 19 (of any given year) Verse 1: Rare moments like these To look to the skies To gaze without care To sort out the why's Verse 2: The rustle of leaves Hear songs of the birds Counting my fears Now seems small and absurd Chorus: But then there's you All around me You surround me How I miss you Here with me Telling me what is & what isn't to be There's no rhyme, no rhythm to letting you go, it's just so, but I'll never let go Verse 3: Then the moments are gone Reality sets in The busy life rules Keep pace to fit in Verse 4: Minutes fly by Days move without end Why even try Then you enter right in (Chorus) Break: Unexpected you float through my mind like you do & you're here while you're not, it's enough for now though it's never enough & it will never be quite right...without you! Without you, Trying to understand myself without you, Last verses... So, I gaze up at the skies In these moments I steal All still full of my why's But this time I feel .... Better, just a little better... Always working toward better With you beside me from so far away!

Flower Lyrics by Elise Falkenstein Music by Elise Falkenstein & Jeff Falkenstein Growing a flower goes like so you have to sit and watch it grow It’ll be a while before you know all that flower has to show You’ll watch it bloom in awe Dumb struck by all the beauty you saw Taking time is Nature’s law Pure emotion so raw So be patient. Stick with it Because a flower is beautiful from the inside out So don’t worry. Please believe me Cause the flower will open up and show itself. I know someone like a flower Takes some time, but she’s great once you know her Not that confident yet. She’s too much in her own head Can’t wait to see what she’ll become Flower is just one branch of the tree It’s almost the same as you and me Lost in the forest of society Swallowed in its petals of anxiety But it still rises up from the ground Reaches for the sky without making a sound. It weathered the storm and now it feels warm And through the sunlight it was reborn I know someone like a flower Takes some time, but she’s great once you know her She gets more confident yeah. She’s to still in her own head But she’s still got time, still young Too scared to try, I don’t want to be that girl I’m going to blossom and fly, Creating my own world And like a flower I will rise up Finally who I’m meant to be I know someone like a flower Takes some time, but she’s great once you know her Finally has her confidence, trying not to over think it She’s really opening up I know someone like a flower Takes some time, but she’s great once you know her Finally has her confidence, trying not to over think it Oh how beautiful it was…. Watching her open up Oh how beautiful it was Watching her open up

Queen of Spite She sits on her throne and doles out the orders To every last drone she strikes beyond their borders To drive them to the depths where pain resides What they don't know is that the one who's hurting Is the queen of spite who is always flirting With her demons to hide the pain inside They don't know That she can't show The love she has that's walled up deep inside She don't know That for her to grow She has to drop the walls and swallow up her pride. There is no one that is immune to her strikes A blackwidow soul whose venom always spikes Whenever she feels a threat to her control No one gets in the queen is amptly protected She's on a mission even the strong are rejected Her well armed forces are always on patrol So let it go You've got to know That she'll work to rule your life and crush your soul Eventhough You finally go You never seem quite free from her control

Zero Regrets 03:26
Zero Regret I'm pushing myself to the limit No holding back not for a minute Working harder than I ever thought possible Not looking back, I'm working through every obstacle You may tell me, it's not worth it I'm doing too much, i'd better not push it. But never giving up is my secret And, Oh No, I've got Zero Regret! I start everyday before daybreak Pushing my body for all it can take Got my sights fixed on the ultimate goal And I'm in it, baby, body and soul! You may tell me to slow down Too much more and I won't be around But I won't slow down, so don't you forget Oh No, I want Zero Regret! Break: My time here is not very long In a moment it may all be gone I don't want to come to the end And say I wish I could do it over again So I won't waiver, no I won't drift Not about to waste this precious gift Everyday I will be raising the bar Aiming high so I can soar past the stars You may tell me, it's not worth it I'm doing too much, i'd better not push it. But never giving up is my secret And, Oh No, I've got Zero Regret!

Into The Night In a bedroom there lies a man awaitin’ A tear suspended from his eye His mind has drifted to a place far from nowhere Where he first felt the warmth of the night in a smile Her name was Lilly, and she loved above the diner She had but two cents to her name But her face was honest, and she had all good intentions She was waiting for a man to sweep her away into the night Well it was in the diner at a table near the corner Where the two of them did meet He paid for dinner, and then he took her to the depot Where they walked between the cross ties of the tracks outside of town For several months their love grew stronger There hearts were two but yet beat as one Until the day she got a letter from her dying mother in L.A. She needed her right away So having given promises of her return, she took the next train out into the night. Well it’s been about twenty years since Lil left for the coastline Yet in twenty years not much has changed And in a bedroom above a little small town diner lies a broken hearted man And on the dresser there lies a faint remembrance of the girl who took his heart on a train into the night

So Caught Up In Him SHE reaches in and turns on the shower She lets the WATER stream down her soft smooth skin She STAYS in there for what seems an hour HE is on her mind again His sexy notes flow through her head Her body quakes as she dries and heads for bed She can't get him off her mind She's late for work with a grin upon her face She writes him NOTES for hours at a time Her thoughts of him she simply can't erase She pines away for any sign And jumps at the thought that he's back online. She's so caught up in him She sighs and longs for him In her mind there's a world with just her and him But reality brings her down In time she'll come around And settle back to her real life once again She slides around beneath her sheets In her fantasies, he's there with her Her breath quickens as her lusting heart beats Their bodies in motion all a blur She never wants to let it go Wishing she could blink and make it so In the morning she's back at work Running her fingers through her hair Back online she starts to lurk Scanning for any sign he's there Her passion hushed in silent screams Another day is lost in dreams She's so caught up in him She sighs and longs for him In her mind there's a world with just her and him But reality brings her down In time she'll come around And settle back to her real life once again

Vague Circles The mirror shows her eyes Still full of light, but a bit less bright She combs through her grey hair But she feels alive as ever there Because the road is a spiral And it’s ever ahead It moves in vague circles Swirling over head That young girl’s in there But wiser now instead It’s a curious path we’re on And we keep coming ‘round again The weathered lines on her face Show the miles of smiles she’s shared Blue maps on her hands Countless caresses show she’s cared

The Glory of the Lord From the brilliance of the morning light To the darkness as it fades to night Oh yes, my eyes have seen the glory of the Lord From the beauty of a mountain peak To the calming of a sun swept beach Oh yes, my eyes have seen the glory of the Lord Oh yes, my eyes have seen the glory of the Lord! Though the days go by slow The years pass so fast So take each precious moment And make it last I’ve seen a mother put all work aside To hold her baby daughter when she cried Oh yes, my eyes have seen the glory of the Lord I’ve seen a busy father walk away And take his little boy outside to play Oh yes, my eyes have seen the glory of the Lord Oh yes, my eyes have seen the glory of the Lord! Life can bring you joy And though each heartache takes its toll, You can fill it full of love If you embrace it with your soul. From the moment of her new born smile ‘Til the day she walks that final mile Oh yes, her eyes have seen the glory of the Lord And when your life has reached its end And many a stranger you can now call friend Well then your eyes have seen the glory of the Lord. Oh yes, your eyes have seen the glory of the Lord!
